Kristina Russell is one of Australia’s leading Haircolourists.

Not only is she a great Colourist, but a true artist. Her sex/punk style belies a meticulous and dedicated Educator whose classes and seminars are booked out months in advance.

Kristina has shared the Stage with the world’s leading stylists (inc. Lee Stafford) at many Hair Expo appearances. She is re-known for approaching hair as though it is a blank canvas and creating a 3rd dimension by colouring in shadows and texture.

In 2007, her unique talent, passion and professional approach earned her the recognition of the public and they awarded her the YEN magazine Young Woman of the Year.

As a long term International Colour Artist for Redken 5th Ave NYC, she is a regular judge and mentor for their Annual ‘Future Colour’ competition. This role sees Kristina touring Australia several times a year delivering colour seminars of her own design as well as interpreting International Redken Colour Collections for our Market.

This year (2010) has been her most exciting year to date, representing Redken (Australia) in New York, Las Vegas and New Zealand.

In June 2010, her creative influence on our industry and successful colour business practice earned her the Hair Expo Colour Technician of the Year.

Kristina is driven to elevate the standards of Australian hairdressing with her commitment to sharing her knowledge with other hairdressers – she is dedicated to helping others become great Haircolourists.
